Upgrading to Vista

Well, I finally reached the point where it's a day before RC1 expires and I'm still using it. The thing is, you can still run RC1 after it expires, but it'll restart after two hours. You can then sign back in, but It will keep restarting after two hours. I'd prefer to get out of that.  So, I got the upgrade version, and, oddly enough, RC1 activation codes qualify for that. At least they cut us some slack... Anyway, I'm moving the 8.8 GB of photographs I have to my external hard drive, so Vista Ultimate will have a little wiggle room.  At the end of the week, I'm planning on getting a 160 GB HDD, so I'll back everything up like I did before, install the new HDD, put Ultimate on that, and put everything back. Just like I did with Beta 2 to RC1. But that kinda has to be done over the weekend, so this upgrade is just going to be a temporary fix. I've got about 20 minutes to kill before my pictures transfer, and it's time for dinner, so I'll post this now, eat, then start the upgrade, and wait.
